Your Yoga: Discover how to deepen your personal practice of yoga through meditation.  Gain awareness and appreciation of subtle changes in the body and spirit that evolve during each asana (posture).  Beginners and more experienced yoga practitioners will benefit from this class.

 

Yoga Flow:  A class with a meditative flow best suited for students that have some familiarity with the asanas (postures) and pranayama (breath).

 

Restorative:   Meditation, breathing practice, basic postures, with a focus on strengthening and conditioning for the low back.  So … even if you have been practicing yoga for a while, this class can be beneficial for you if you suffer from back pain.

 

“Easy Does It” Yoga Flow: Appropriate for students with a basic knowledge of the postures (asanas), the breath (pranayama) and meditation, who would enjoy light movement and strength training.

 

Yoga Fusion: Merging the diverse elements of yoga into a dynamic and fun class where we explore asana, pranayama, and meditation in depth.”  Appropriate for all levels.

Vinyasa Flow:  An energetic, faster paced class where movement from one posture to another is linked with the breath.  Strengthening postures are mixed in the flow to help develop confidence, patience, strength and unity with the breath. This class is suited for those who have developed familiarity and alignment in the postures. Not recommended for people who are pregnant, have injuries, or conditions such as high blood pressure, heart problems or breathing conditions. Those who take this class should also be attending one or two other yoga classes during the week, or who follow a regular fitness regime.

Class will  include: Hip openers, Shoulder openers, Core work, and Back Bends. A deeper practice into the strengthening and balancing poses. Please bring a hand towel to whisk away sweat!

 

All Levels:  This class rotates between instructors and will vary according to that particular instructor’s style.  The instructor will provide modifications for newer students who need assistance, and will be aware of what is needed during the class.  This is a mixed level class.
